Earn College Credit from Mid-South Community College
Mid-South Community College is pleased to offer college credit for the following CIW certifications for courses in our Information Systems Technology program's AAS and Web Site Design certificate.
- CIW Foundations Exam (1D0-410 or 1D0-510) (9 credits)
- CIW Site Designer Exam (1D0-420 or 1D0-520) (6 credits)
To receive college credit, students must:
- Submit the MSCC application form
- Have a copy of the CIW certificate faxed or mailed from ProSoft to MSCC, Attn: Registrar.
- Students who have not completed any previous hours at MSCC must pay a credit by examination fee equal to the in-state tuition rate per credit hour for the course; students who have earned credits previously at MSCC will pay only the $25 credit by examination fee.
- Credits will be awarded on a pass basis only; no grades or quality points will be assigned.
- ot all colleges accept credit by examination as transfer credit, so students wanting to transcript credit for transfer purposes should verify acceptance by the receiving institution in advance.
