(ISC)²® recognizes the CIW certification program

December 15, 2009 -- Phoenix, Arizona -- (ISC)²® and Certification Partners are pleased to announce that CISSP candidates who hold any of the following CIW certifications can waive one years work experience from the five years required:

CIW Associate (Foundations)
CIW Security Essentials
CIW Security Analyst
CIW Database Design Specialist

(ISC)²® has recognized that the above CIW certifications teach essential technology standards and best practices, and thus count towards significant professional experience. Both organizations are excited to work together more closely in the future to ensure that the industry is served by highly-qualified security experts.
