Public Affairs/Digital Marketing and Communications
8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday; will be required to work during emergencies at Emergency Operations Center.
Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.
Performs graphic design and maintenance on the County internet and intranet web sites. Assists in the coordination of departmental web site projects/requests including online marketing programs; interprets requirements for the planning/coordination of diverse marketing activities; utilizes social media; operates advanced computer design systems and peripheral equipment. Assists with public presentations including internal training on web design and graphics software. Establishes/maintains effective working relationships with elected/appointed officials, the media and general public.
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of one (1) year of experience in web site development and in the creation of HTML/CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) documents.
Writing source codes using JavaScript/HTML/CSS(must specify on application); using Adobe/Adobe CC software. Also desirable: Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW)(must specify on application).
