Compensation & Benefits

Teacher salaries start at $42,343. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered that includes health, dental, vision, and flexible spending account options.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements for Information Technology or Programming and be willing to obtain teaching licensure.

Associate’s degree or above in endorsement area
Two years work experience out of the past eight years
A+ or Net Plus or CIW or CISCO certified

All CTE candidates MUST attend a CTE Occupational License New Teacher Training Course offered each January and July by the Tennessee DOE. More information concerning state requirements for CTE Teachers is available at: http://www.tn.gov/education/topic/cte-educator-resources.
