Position Summary

Segue Technologies seeks a SharePoint Administrator to support an US Air Force Project. This is a full-time position located at Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland AFB, TX. Hours 0730 to 1630 Monday to Friday. Minimal travel may be required. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for overseeing an installation of the Microsoft SharePoint collaboration and content management platform.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sustainment of SharePoint site, routine maintenance, first-line troubleshooting
  • Performs a variety of tasks necessary to maintain, upgrade and create SharePoint sites
  • Works with end users to assure assigned SharePoint sites continue to meet end user needs and perform to end user requirements
  • Performs standard SharePoint maintenance as well as support trouble ticket and help line calls as assigned
  • Support Coding, testing, and implementation of custom solutions and tools in a collaborative service environment
  • Troubleshoots all SharePoint questions, issues and problems to determine the situation and potential resolution
  • Resolves issues as appropriate or refers them to higher level specialists for resolution. Supports end users in using SharePoint environments and provides individual training as necessary
  • Executes changes, modifications and plans as requested
  • Reviews, evaluates, designs, creates and maintains assigned SharePoint site(s)
  • Maintain and update user and group permission structure
  • Works with end users to develop and modify SharePoint sites. Captures requirements, develops site content framework and SharePoint web parts
  • Works independently to identify and execute maintenance and upgrade activities for assigned SharePoint sites
  • Trains end users and updates SharePoint tools and objects in response to evolving user needs.
  • Handles assigned maintenance and upgrade task
  • Plans, schedules and tests assigned SharePoint maintenance and updates
  • Tests SharePoint sites to assure they are working at optimum capacity, to correct errors and to make necessary adjustments
  • Identifies modifications and upgrades required for existing SharePoint environments and SharePoint administration and recommends them to appropriate managers and staff
  • Create/Edit custom SharePoint workflows to automate business processes
  • Create graphics, alter look and feel of pages
  • Support the development of custom client-side solutions and custom features
  • Support the design of interfaces to allow users that are internal to the US Air Force Portal to access collaboration sites containing acquisition instructions and information, and sample documents
  • Additional duties as needed

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Engineering, or other technical field plus 5 - 7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of SharePoint administration experience developing customized views, workflows, form design, content management, relational database interoperability
  • 1+ years of experience working with MS Office Suite, HTML & CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, MS SharePoint Designer and Adobe Dreamweaver/Fireworks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Active TS/SCI (Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information) Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of architectural design, web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations
  • 5+ years of experience working with SharePoint, MS Office Suite, HTML & CSS, and XML
  • 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, MS SharePoint Designer, Adobe Dreamweaver/Fireworks
  • Current SharePoint 2010/2007 Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
  • Web Master Certification (CPW, CIW, or CAW)
