As an ASP.NET Developer, you will be responsible for providing software development support of the team’s web-based applications based on a defined set of design and performance requirements, to include ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, CSS, and SQL Server. You will work closely with a business analyst and the development team, DBA, server and network teams to build, configure, implement, and maintain applications for a wide customer base. You will also provide timely Tier II/III application support for new and legacy systems. Must have experience writing web-based software that integrates with a database. Must have a strong background in ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server 2005 or higher and ORMs such as Entity Framework. Must have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, developers, DBAs, and systems administrators. Must maintain the skill set required to do the job and maintain awareness of trends within the technology industry. Must be customer service oriented and have a strong work ethic. Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance which requires US citizenship. Preferred certification in Security+ CE, CIW, ITIL, MCTS: SQL Server 2008, or MCTS: Web Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Preferred skills include agile software development, DIACAP compliance, Team Foundation Server, experience in DOD environment.
