CIW Associate Design Specialist Certification

The new CIW Associate Design Specialist Certification is a perfect fit for academic and training organizations that want to deliver vendor-neutral Web design instruction and industry certification. Students will learn the basics of Web design along with today's most current information such as XHTML coding, image editing, validation, CSS, GUI editors, server-side and client-side languages, e-commerce models and much more!

To become a CIW Associate Design Specialist, the candidate must pass the Site Development Foundations* module exam and the Site Designer exam AND complete the CIW Certification Agreement by logging in to the CIW Candidate Information Center.

*Become a CIW Certified Testing Center (CTC)

Since the exams for this certification are delivered through the CTC testing environment in modular format, educational institutions and learning organizations need to first apply to become an official CIW Certified Testing Center. Once accepted, a CIW Proctor must be designated to administer the exams.
